Vikings RB Dalvin Cook feared to have torn ACL
Minnesota’s day could not be ore horrific. They lost to the Lions, a division rival, 14-7. More importantly, sensational rookie RB Dalvin Cook may be lost for the year. Cook left the game in the third quarter with a non- contact injury and quickly ruled out for the remainder.
Viking head coach Mike Zimmer says Cook will get an MRI Monday but according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter the Vikings fear a torn ACL.
Cook has been an incredibly valuable addition to the Vikings offense, only trailing fellow rookie Kareem Hunt in rushing yardage. He is also a workhouse averaging over 20 yards per game.
Before Cook went down in today, he 66 yards and a score on 13 carries. Losing him would be a massive blow.
