NFL Halloween: Best Costumes of All Time

Happy Halloween! The time of year candy calories don’t count, and cavities are inevitable. For NFL players coaches and fans, Halloween gives the opportunity to try on a different helmet and uniform -so to speak- and imagine life as a superhero, clown or the scariest of them all, their coaches.

The e following are a collection of our favorite NFL-inspired Halloween costumes of all time.

Russell Wilson went for his coach Pete Carroll with this Halloween bit.

He wasn’t the only one either, Julian Edelman looks too comfortable in the sweater in this perfect photoshop.

Other players decided to go as one of their own. Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly dresses up as QB Cam Newton, in an outfit Cam approves.

For the life of me, I’m not sure why people still dress up as clowns on Halloween or any other day of the year, but some players did – and it was creepy for sure.

Other players and coaches took Halloween as a time to get even more creative with their costumes.

Rob Gronkowski played off his size in this Frankenstein costume.

While one of the fastest in the league, his Twitter name is actually cheetah, Tyreek Hill wore a sumo suit to the game before Halloween.

Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky paid tribute to the best, Mike Ditka, saying after the game “I wouldn’t call it a costume, I dressed as a legend.”

The next few costumes are truly legendary in their execution.

Cam Newton as the Tooth fairy? If you haven’t figured it out from his Instagram, when Cam dresses up he goes all out.

You might be surprised to know the grumpy New England coach, actually celebrates Halloween and can smile.

Bill Belichick dressed as a pirate in this throwback Halloween picture.

You might want to avert your eyes from the next photo, as Joe Webb went all out on his Zombie costume.

The avocado ice cream king, in Tom Brady, dressing up as avocado toast with Gisele Bündchen makes us ask the question, but isn’t there supposed to be an egg on top?

Still, the greatest costumes of all when kids and babies dress up as coaches and players.

This year we have a new adorable mini Pat Mahomes who wins Halloween.

But we can’t forget the MVP baby who will always be our favorite!
