Nelson Agholor rewards local hero who mocked him
Even in the aftermath of fire, Philadelphia resident Hakim Laws couldn’t pocket his fandom. Laws, a former firefighter, noticed flames coming from an apartment building in West Philly early Monday morning and joined first responders in helping the residents evacuate one by one. Some were even babies and children. When describing the incident to Philadelphia’s CBS affiliate, Laws still had a certain Eagles wideout less-than-stellar performance Sunday on his mind.
"We was catching 'em … unlike [Nelson] Agholor."

After catching children thrown from a window during a fire, a Philly man was feeling extra petty 😅

Agholor dropped two keys passes and had a fumble in a key 27-24 loss to the Lions Sunday. While disappointed in his performance, his mind turned to more pressing issues as the woes of Week 3 turned into the promise of Week 4. Agholor got wind of Laws’ good deed and subsequent mockery and he had something to say in return.
Thank you for being a hero in the community, would like to invite you and your family to the next home game
