Marshawn Lynch’s mom responds to Trump tweet calling for son’s suspension
When Marshawn Lynch sat for the U.S. national anthem but stood for Mexico’s ahead of the Raiders-Pats tilt in Mexico City, there was one certainty: a nasty tweet from the president was coming. Like clockwork, Trump populated everyone’s Twitter feeds on Monday morning:
“Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.”
The NFL community and society at large fought back at the world’s most powerful publicly elected official targeting a private citizen. But it was Lynch’s mother, Delisa, who dropped the social media mic
what NFL team do Trump own ? oh yeah they wouldnt let him have one ,!! LMAO https://t.co/1rPa5jfMjE

Like her son, Momma Lynch is not one to shy away from expressing herself and has been RTing and responding to other responses to Trump.
Jack Del Rio’s wife, Linda, also issued a response:
Linda posted a follow up tweet about regretting her decision to vote for Trump which she has since deleted.
Good times in the intersection of football and politics.
