Since the NFL’s International Series began in London in 2007 league officials have had their attention focused on the pot of gold: a permanent franchise. This season is as close as they have come with half a home schedule (four games) being played in London. In addition, Sunday’s Rams-Cardinals tilt at Twickenham Stadium was the first UK game in the evening, a test to see if a later UK game could could logistically work in the NFL’s mega 1PM ET timeslot. The league would like to have a franchise by 2022 but there are still many obstacles. TFG London correspondent, Max Whittle, asked an array of impassioned female fans about the possibility of a franchise and whether they would want an expansion team or one to relocate from the United States.
