Fantasy Football 2011: Top 50 Wide Receivers
Updated: 9-5-2011
Draft season is just about over. But if your draft is still to come, you’re in luck. With the news of Peyton Manning’s doubtful status this week (and possibly beyond), you get to make better draft decisions that actually correlate with the current NFL landscape. Let me scream it for the millionth time: DO NOT buy fantasy football magazines.
Here’s my list of the Top 50 wide receiver. Check it carefully as many on this list are valued significantly higher or lower than the current ADP. Feel free to agree, disagree, or just be braggart about your already drafted receiver corps.

46) Greg Little, Browns
47) Lance Moore, Saints
48) Nate Burleson, Lions
49) Lee Evans, Ravens
50) Earl Bennett, Bears
Notes:
I was hesitant to put any Bears because their receiving corps is very muddled at the moment. I do, however, believe that Earl Bennett will emerge as the fantasy daring there. Martz plans to run a lot of three-receiver sets with Bennett getting the first look. And don’t forget that Cutler-Bennett Vanderbilt connection!
I have Dwayne Bowe higher than most (his ADP is WR12). Bowe was the leading receiver last season. Not much has changed in Kansas City. I’m not buying the assumption that last season was a fluke.
I also have Greg Jennings at WR3 over the fantasy flavor of the month Roddy White, Larry Fitzgerald and several others that may be considered better bets. Jennings is the AP of the group, safe and consistent. Green Bay operates a passing master class and I want the star student.
