Broncos QB Paxton Lynch tears up after ankle injury ends his day
Paxton Lynch had his turn to play Broncos starting quarterback Sunday. Unfortunately Lynch’s day, and possibly his season, were derailed after an ankle knocked him out of the game in the third quarter.
The severity of Lynch’s injury is still to be determined but Lynch’s reaction on the sideline could indicate the severity.

Lynch’s on-field performance brought no joy either. When he left, the Broncos had been held scoreless and Lynch had thrown for just 41 yards and a touchdown. He showed little poise in the pocket and had issues with footwork and accuracy.
Still, the second year quarterback was likely to have an opportunity to prove his worth given Denver’s shaky quarterback room also occupied by Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler.
Regardless of performance, it’s gut wrenching to see a young player so emotional.
