Aaron Rodgers’ ‘Jeopardy!’ Hosting Stint Begins April 5th

Good news Packers fans. You don’t have to wait until August to see your quarterback in the throes of competition.

Beginning Monday April 5th, Aaron Rodgers will guest host ‘Jeopardy!’ for two weeks.

The three–time NFL MVP is not only a devout fan of the show but a former participant. In 2015, Rodgers won $50,000 for MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) after defeating former astronaut turned Arizona senator Mark Kelly and Shark Tank entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary in ‘Celebrity Jeopardy.’

“The show has been so special to me over the years,” Rodgers said in January. “It’s been a staple at my house here in Green Bay for the last 16 years – 6 o’clock watching Alex and trying to get as many questions as I can.”

Rodgers is, of course, referring to Alex Trebek, the iconic Jeopardy host who passed away from pancreatic cancer last year. Trebek’s long-term replacement is still to be determined. Other guest hosts have included Katie Couric, Dr. Oz, and Ken Jennings.
