Tom Brady posts video working out with Josh Gordon
WR Josh Gordon may have an NFL future after all. Tom Brady posted a quick Instagram video of himself working out with Gordon, who is currently suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating the league’s drug policy on multiple occasions.
Gordon was traded from the Browns to the Patriots last September in exchange for a fifth rounder. He played 11 games for New England, racking up 720 yards and three touchdowns before being suspended in late December. Prior to New England, Gordon mostly shined with the Browns when he was eligible to play. Gordon made his mark in 2013 when he put up an astonishing 1646 receiving yards but the drug violations have kept the NFL waiting for his second act. Prior to last season, Gordon only played in 10 games total between 2014-2017.
The topsy-turvy wideout did sign a tender with the Patriots in April, ensuring he’d be with the team when and if he’s reinstated. Given how strategic Brady is about his social media branding, a post with Gordon could indicate another chance is brewing for Gordon.
