Welcome to thefootballgirl.com.  If you are reading this, it very well could be your first time to the site.  We wanted to take this opportunity to really introduce ourselves and our purpose. 

Thefootballgirl.com is designed to be a community for female football fans of all kinds.  And yes, we know there are so many different levels of fans out there.  Unlike the myriad Football 101 for Women type ventues, we don't assume you don't know a touchback when you see one.  But we're also not some Mensa-type football knowledge goddess society that is impossible to join. 

We really have something for everyone!

Fantasy players, we are your one stop shop to put you in the best position for winning your league.  Check out our extensive fantasy section for the best tips out there. 

If you're brand spankin' new to football and need the basics, check out our TFG 101 section where you will find everything from beginning football terminology to a laywoman's explanation of the rules.

For those women with a moderate to high level of knowledge, we have everything from advanced terminology to interviews with the players you want to hear from to feature articles offering a deeper analysis into the game.  We're even developing podcasts that break down complicated formations!

And of course, we have all the headlines you need to know. 

For everyone, we have message boards with such an array of topics, you should all feel invited and welcome to participate.
