Texans WR Will Fuller breaks collarbone

Horrible news out of Houston as starting wideout Will Fuller broke his collarbone in practice and will be out 2-3 months, as first reported by ESPN’s Sarah Barshop and Adam Schefter.

The 23-year old Fuller has been an emerging receiver in the Texans offense. He only had 47 catches last season but was poised to be a more integral part of Bill O’Brien’s offense with an improved quarterback, be it Deshaun Watson or Tom Savage.

The Texans are no strangers to massive injury. J.J. Watt was lost after Week 3 last season to a back injury that required two surgeries.

With Fuller out until possibly the midseason, O’Brien and company will need to figure out how to split the suddenly increased workload between Braxton Miller, Jaleel Strong and others.
