Jeff Hart: Thursday Linkfest for September 15, 2011

Is your fantasy team 0-1? Or, are you looking to manipulate a panicky 0-1 owner into a lopsided trade? Razzball has a solid column on what players are currently hot trade commodities and how to maximize their value.
Now that the obligatory fantasy advice is out of the way: let’s get litigious!
We begin with Braylon Edwards’ lawsuit against the Michigan restaurant where members of his entourage were involved in a fight this summer. Edwards is suing the restaurant for slander after they erroneously claimed he was one of the scofflaws, which Edwards argues cost him $14M in guaranteed money. Not sure where that contract offer was coming from, Braylon, but that team should probably sue you for slander and defamation. Who would pay that?!
More details on the stungun wielding Cowboys fan have emerged. He evoked the ire of those around him by being rude during the pregame 9/11 ceremony. Because of his discourteousness, his neighbors refused to move when the 59-year old man attempted to go to the bathroom. Just to play devil’s advocate: isn’t part of the allure of getting old the ability to be a huge jerk and taser people without repercussions?
Following up on one of last year’s sexiest controversies, reporter Ines Sainz returned to Jets camp for the first time since last year’s sexual harassment firestorm. Her appearance was followed by dozens of blog posts “cleverly” describing her outfit.
Tom Brady told Patriots fans to make sure they’re plenty liquored up for Sunday’s game. As if people in Boston need to be told to get drunk. The puritanical Patriots brass quickly clarified that Brady meant “stay hydrated.” I guess they’re only selling water at Gillette now?
Classy move with the Steve McNair skeleton, Jaguars fans. This is why no one will shed a tear when you’re relocated to Los Angeles.
Finally, check out this spot hyping Nike’s 2012 redesign of the NFL jerseys. How much of the current jersey aesthetic will the company change to erase Reebok’s legacy?
