Jeff Hart: Thursday Linkfest for December 22, 2011

That is but a mere glimpse of the amazing images you’ll find of excited Ndamukong Suh over at Kissing Suzy Kolber. Seriously, I could spend hours looking at these Photoshops.
I could also waste a good chunk of time perusing images of the thickest necks in the NFL. Lucky for me, the normally high-brow thinkers over at Slate have an assembled an awesome gallery just for that purpose.
Why all the time wasting photo galleries today? I need something to fill the time otherwise dedicated to fantasy football. Fantasy seasons have been steadily ending over the last few weeks and by now I’d say that the majority of players are sorting out their keepers and looking to the off-season. Unless you’re one of these two brothers, who will compete for a $100,000 fantasy football championship on Sunday.
Maybe this fantasy off-season it’s time to hold a league meeting and reconsider the outmoded idea of head-to-head scoring. The guys over at Football Outsiders have some suggestions on how to make sure the best team wins every week.
For some actual football news we turn to New York (errrr New Jersey), where Saturday’s meeting between the Jets and Giants is starting to heat up. As a group, the Giants WRs have apparently decided to target feared cornerback Darrelle Revis, basically telling reporters that Revis is overrated and adding “neener neener neener.”
Also, and I’m not sure this pertains at all to the actual football game, but there are a lot of rumors swirling about Mark Sanchez, Kate Upton, and steamy late night trysts. Will the supermodels still be interested when the Jets fall out of playoff contention and begin to consider who they’ll draft as their next handsome quarterback experiment?
Finally, maybe you should break up your mindless meme ogling and gossip mongering with some solid sports writing. Here’s a long read arguing for Devin Hester as a folk hero.
