Jeff Hart: Monday Linkfest for November 7, 2011
By: Jeff Hart | Posted: November 07, 2011
As a Bills fan, this clip of Mark Sanchez flinching is the only thing good to come out of yesterday’s embarrassing home loss to the New Jersey Jets. It’s really, really good though.

It was like 2008 all over again yesterday for Michael Strahan, seen here living vicariously through his former team and briefly forgetting the hellish netherworld he now inhabits seated next to Jimmy Johnson and Terry Bradshaw. For those whining about a lack of “objectivity” in Strahan’s reaction: he’s not a journalist (whew!). If these network analysts were forced to be objective, they’d be even less interesting than they already are.
After the Giants handed them their second straight loss, the Patriots look like they could use a spark. Maybe it’s time for The Hoodie to restart his program of paying practice squad players to start fights.
Or, maybe The Hoodie should look into signing Browns LB Scott Fujita. Taking a page from the Reggie Bush playbook, Fujita accused his entire team of stinking, with the notable exceptions of Colt McCoy, Josh Cribbs, and Phil Dawson. I bet injured child-hater Peyton Hillis is glad the Cleveland news cycle won’t be revolving around him this week.
Is it possible for the Manning-less Colts to go 0-16? They’ve got two games still go to go against Jacksonville, which seem like their only chances to notch a win. They’re currently the frontrunners in the Suck for Luck campaign, although there’s no word on whether or not Peyton Manning would actually let Jim Irsay draft Luck. Someone go ask Phil Simms.
Apparently, Raiders fans are attempting to reform their bad reputation, perhaps feeling that the demise of Al Davis finally makes them free to act like wimpy regular fans without repercussions. That article about kinder and gentler Raiders fans ran on Saturday. Yesterday, every time NFL Redzone flipped to Broncos/Raiders for a Broncos TD, there were plastic cups flying at Denver players. Oakland, a good start to rehabbing your image might be to stop throwing trash onto the field.
Lastly, LeSean McCoy fired Drew Rosenhaus over the weekend. For the second time. It’s just like Vince and Ari from Entourage!
