Jeff Hart: Friday Linkfest for December 9, 2011

By: Jeff Hart | Posted: December 09, 2011

It has finally happened! After weeks of reigning as the best NFL-inspired parody song produced this season, “The Niners Will Return (Harbaugh)” has at last been dethroned. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you “Cutty Come Back.”

Listen to that production quality! Speaking of production quality and Bears ineptness, Mike Martz plans to be “more aggressive” with Caleb Hanie this weekend. So, you have that to look forward to, Bears fans.

Ready for today’s hot conspiracy theory? Mike Florio posits that football dads Archie Manning and Oliver Luck are colluding to keep their sons from having to play together. Is it just me or does that not sound nearly as crazy as it should?

Good news for the Colts: there’s an argument to be made that they aren’t actually the worst team in the league this year. Despite actually winning four games, the Bucs have spent more time trailing this year than the winless Colts. I’m not sure how that’s even possible.

Someone explain to me what all the fuss is about with this kindergartner wearing his “Blaine Gabbert Make It Rain On Them Hoes” shirt to school. Shouldn’t only people with 7-year old intellects be wearing that shirt? What’s the big deal?

Did you donate to the Green Bay Packers Kickstarter campaign yet? The club is reporting $43 million donations have already rolled in. Anyone want to buy a share of Jeff Hart stock for $250? I’ll send you a piece of a paper and everything. I’m not sure what kind of paper stock the Packers are using, but mine is pretty nice, which means there’s a good chance my stock will be worth more.

Finally, here’s an in-depth read on the reliability of the Titans offensive line and how it’s looking like Chris Johnson will close the season in top form. Good news for those Johnson owners who managed to sneak into their fantasy football playoffs. Oh, and for Titans fans too, I guess.
