Jacoby Jones And His Mother Walk Into A Tattoo Parlor...

For Jacoby Jones' latest tattoo, it's probably the thought that's going to have to count. Jones, the tattoo-covered Ravens wide receiver-turned Super Bowl XLVII hero, decided to commemorate the Super Bowl victory he earned in his hometown of New Orleans by adding to his collection with a Super-Dome-Ravens-Super-Bowl-themed image permanently emblazoned on his lower back. But he wasn't alone on the trip, as his mother Emily London-Jones decided to get inked as well. Jones documented the outing by posting a photos to his Instagram account, including one with the caption "Yup .. Me and mama get tatted!!!"

He also added this close-up of the tattoo artists' handiwork:

What do you think? At first glance, it looks like Jones, who caught a Super Bowl touchdown pass before returning a kick for a touchdown to open the second half, was robbed. The lettering is uneven and the Raven looks more cartoonish than fearsome. In fairness, Jones' skin is still visibly puffy and irritated; perhaps once the swelling goes down the tattoo will look less like amateur hour and more like the back of a Super Bowl Champion. If you were wondering, Jones has yet to post a detailed shot of his mom's new ankle ink.
