Week 6 NFL Ticket Price Watch: The Dolphins are Charging What???

By: The Football Girl | Posted: October 10, 2012

Last season we chronicled the ticket prices at NFL games, which we can probably all agree are astronomical.  We neglected to start up again this season because it’s hard to say in Week 1 with all certainly that spending large sums of cash on a Titans game is a rip off. Now we can.

Here is a look at what teams are charging for two tickets for Week 6’s games. Just as before, this list will include the two BEST AVAILABLE seats. Obviously there will be lower priced options. The point of this exercise is simply to check out the nerviness level of NFL owners.  You will see one standout this week.

All tickets are via Ticketmaster and NFL.com, and are thus face value.

(As of 10/10 at 2:45 PM ET)

Steelers at Titans (LP Field):  Section 330, Upper Level, End Zone - $65.58 each

Raiders at Falcons (Georgia Dome): Section 116, Lower Level, 40-yard line - $189.80 each

Cowboys at Ravens (M&T Bank Stadium):  No availability

Bengals at Browns (Cleveland Browns Stadium): Section 110, Lower Level, 30-yard line - $116.75 each

Rams at Dolphins (Sun Life Stadium): Section 243, Club Level, 35-yard line - $727.85 each

Colts at Jets (Met Life Stadium): Section 338, Upper Level, 50-yard line - $147.10 each

Lions at Eagles (Lincoln Financial Field): Section 217, Second Level, Corner End Zone - $105.30 each

Chefs at Bucs (Raymond James Stadium): Section 107, Lower Level, Side End Zone - $114.00 each

Bills at Cardinals (University of Phoenix Stadium): Section 115, Lower Level, Corner End Zone - $117.30 each

Patriots at Seahawks (CenturyLink Field): No availability

Giants at 49ers (Candlestick Park): No availability

Vikings at Redskins (FedEx Field): No availability

Packers at Texans (Reliant Stadium): No availability

Broncos at Chargers (Qualcomm Stadium): Section C6, Club Level, 50-yard line - $324.00 each

Note: The Dolphins ticket price is for a club seat and may include a free hot dog or something of the sort, making the $727 price legitimate.

Ah, gotcha. Next time they might want that to be noted in Ticketmaster.

Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor are being inducted into the Ring of Honor this week, believe those seats include meet and greet as well
