Tara Austin's Week 5 "Lock"

When we started the season, handicapper Tara Austin was our new lock of the year. Austin is a numbers veteran, sassy, knows her football, and is an integral part of the Pregame.com community.

However Austin has fallen on some rough times since she started sharing her wisdom in the form of a “lock of the week” on this fair site.  You can see her results through four weeks here.  While her record isn’t so hot, she has made some very gutsy picks, ones which would have yielded big bucks if successful. As you are about to see, this week is no exception. At least Austin can brag about one thing: she’s in the same company as Drew Brees.

Will Week 5 be the week that Austin turns it around?

Colts +7 vs. Green Bay

Typically I think motivation is a bigger factor at the collegiate level than pro, but the "win one for the Gipper" mo is strong at every level. Also, it would be easy for the Pack to overlook Indy here with Houston on deck. Plus, the Colts are fresh off the bye week and getting Freeney back. We will take the home dog getting a full touchdown.
