Owners Beware: Jimmy Graham Remains a Game-Time Decision
By: The Football Girl | Posted: October 28, 2012
Game-time decision involving players not in the early slate of games are the devil for fantasy owners. Today we have Jimmy Graham, who sprained his right ankle October 7th against San Diego.
Graham did participate in practice on a limited basis late in the week and has pronounced himself ready. (Don’t all players in that situation?) In another positive sign, he traveled with the team to Denver for tonight’s SNF showdown.
But will preseason interim coach-turned suspension serving coach-turned interim coach again this week, Joe Vitt want to risk further damage to one of his best players, especially against a punishing defense like Denver?
Even if Graham plays later the risks (which include heavily reduced action) are far too great. Start someone else.
