Wednesday Linkfest: Those Crazy Cardinals

In case you hadn’t noticed, there is a crime wave in the NFL this offseason. But one guys above the fray is new author Michael Vick.  Vick’s book, Finally Free doesn’t hit bookshelves until the first week in September but the quarterback is making the media rounds sharing revelations like how he’s now “helped more animals than he’s hurt.

Last night Vick was a guest on “Piers Morgan Tonight” and made quite an impression on the Brit. Side note: Morgan is following up his Vick interview with Antonin Scalia tonight. Go to town with the comparisons.

Speaking of polarizing figures, Cold Hard Facts’ Truth Minister has a message for fans of Aaron Rodgers and the Packers: Your team stinks in fourth quarter comeback situations.

As evidenced by last year’s Tebow > Orton fiasco, Broncos fans love billboards. Here’s a new one mocking Elvis Dumervil.

Despite a (somewhat) recent Super Bowl appearance the Arizona Cardinals are an average NFL team at best. So why on Earth do they have THREE of the Top 50 high-earning American athletes on their roster?

Atlanta residents are opposing a proposal that a residential street be named after Cam Newton since he has family living there and all. C’mon, cut the kid a break. He’s already played in seventeen NFL games – that’s got to count for something.
