TFG Wednesday Linkfest: Combine Fever

Holy cow, is RGIII a beast?  For those who didn’t already know, this new adidas ad further accentuates the point.   I am going with 4% body fat – over/under, anyone?

 If the voice in the ad is indeed Griffin’s, he already has one major strike against him:  same exact vocal cords as Tiger Woods.

Speaking of distinguishable voices, Kissing Suzy Kolber, put together this mix as an homage to Al Michaels’ frequent transformation of the word “huge” to “yuge.”  It’s the offseason folks. 

But because it’s still the NFL offseason (read: not really an offseason), I will refrain from subjecting you to the latest Oscarmetrics column from Grantland, especially one t dissecting my favorite underdog categories: the short documentary.  Oops .

Unlike Oscar short docs, our next link is not the sexiest.  But it is mighty useful.   It’s the scouting combine schedule!  If you just want to see Andrew Luck NOT throw and noot waste your time on a small school guy who may turn out to be the next Arian Foster, here’s your guide.

Here’s one of my favorite non-Luck follows – Chandler Harnish from Northern Illinois.  And no, it’s not just because I married a boy from DeKalb!

And just when you thought our Linkfest would be Tebow-free, you would be wrong.  By now you have probably heard all about the GQ article in which Brady Quinn doesn’t have the nicest comments about Tebow.  Well, make sure you check out Quinn’s apology/Mike Silver attack on Twitter. 

Meanwhile, Pam Tebow, Timmy’s mama, continues to speak out against abortions.

In our house we say that things are sometimes so big that they are 'Yuge' not 'Huge,' because you can't even fit the 'H'.
