Quite Possibly the Dumbest Tim Tebow "Story" Yet

No matter how you feel about Tim Tebow, his overexposure is undeniable. Today, on his 25th birthday, the insanity was taken to a new level. (I didn’t think it was possible, either). There were special birthday segments on a certain television network. And GQ released their latest issue, featuring Tebow on the cover, accompanying shirtless images and a “profile” story where the reporter asked him exactly one question. But the biggest offender of them all is this: “Tim Tebow's Admirer Matrix” from NFL.com
I understand NFL.com’s desire to enter the fray when it comes to salacious stories that play to the lowest common denominator. It’s called page views.
But they should exist for news, analysis and stats and not much more. They should be all about the Michael Lombardis and Ian Rappaports of the world and not be forcing some unpaid intern to jumpstart his/her career by producing this rubbish. There are plenty of other sites for irrelevant Tebow content. (By publishing this post I declare TheFootballGirl.com to be one of them).
What makes this matrix worse than the fact that it’s written for third-graders is the fact that at least two of the “admirers” aren’t even eligible to date Tebow. Jenny McCarthy is already dating Brian Urlacher, and Erin Andrews now works in the NFL and would fired if she went to Eden. Sure, reality and logic aren’t the point here, but couldn’t they at the very least find some eligible ladies?
It matters not. I’m sure when NFL.com decides to replaces the Tebow matrix on the home page it will be with yet another story about Lauren Tannehill.
