Adderall, Sudafed and the Complete List of Substances Banned by the NFL

If you happen to be the type who relies on a couple of Sudafed to help survive a nasty cold, I hope you’re not an NFL player. The pseudoephedrine is one of a multitude of drugs on the NFL’s list of banned substances. So is Adderall, as Browns CB Joe Haden reminded us of today. As reported by Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland, Haden was informed that he tested positive for the amphetamine, most commonly used to treat attention deficit disorder and narcolepsy, and is facing a possible suspension. Giants safety Tyler Sash was recently suspended for testing positive for Adderall.
