Report: Ezekiel Elliott involved in Dallas bar altercation



With training camp days away, Ezekiel Elliott was involved in a physical confrontation at the Clutch Bar in Dallas late last night as first reported by Cowboys insider Mike Fisher and confirmed from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. From the Dallas Police Department’s police report.

On July 16th at approximately 9:40 PM, Dallas officers were dispatched to a disturbance call in the 2500 block of Cedar Springs Road. The disturbance involved a 30-year old male who stated he had been physically assaulted. According to the report, the victim did not know who assaulted him. The victim was transported to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. There wee no arrests made for this offense, nor were there anyone listed on the report as a suspect. This investigation is on-going and we will update you as information becomes available.

The police report makes the whole incident sound minor, and does not even mention Elliott by name. Still, with a reported suspension looming from the NFL for an alleged domestic violence incident in 2016, Elliott may want to lay low.
